Bookbinding

Over the past week I have been making portfolios and hard covers to contain and protect some of my looseleaf and concertina drawings. They are beginning to get a bit dog-eared and grubby as I carry them around to show people at talks and workshops. Here are their new homes.

They are now ‘things’ to be discovered as you untie and open out the covers and then turn over and inspect each separate leaf.

The hard covers mean that you can look at the concertina book as it stands up ….

…. or lies down.

P.S. Thank you very much to those who bought my small collages at Designer Crafts at The Mall 2013 last week – I hope you enjoy them.
